Try a restart first
A proper restart can clear a temporary problem. If the screen is completely stuck, use your phone model’s force restart method.
Freezing often has a cause
- Storage is nearly full.
- A specific app is misbehaving.
- The phone needs an update.
- The phone is overheating.
- The battery or hardware is ageing.
Back up before bigger fixes
If a phone freezes regularly, make sure photos and important information are backed up before you delete apps, reset settings, or consider repairs.
